This kalayaan raffle contest was originally made for the commemoration of Philippine independence from  spain in June 12, 1898, lead by Emilio Aguinaldo.

Imagine our life today without “freedom” maybe we can’t play on internet cafes, go to malls or party at night, maybe I can’t blog anything like this as they’ll gonna be putting my head in the “garote” if I say something bad about spain,  and those are just a few things..

Anyway, don’t abuse the freedom that we have today and don’t take it for granted , thousands of filipino lives were sacrificed just to have it.

Freedom doesn’t give us a license to step on another man’s foot or use it to violate the right of others. Respect is the key to live a harmonious life.

You’re free brother!  enjoy every second of your life and treat it as your last, do what you want as long as you don’t affect others negatively..
