Half life 2 inspired short film | Escape from city 17
I love counter strike, and it’s been nearly a decade now since I started playing.
And for those of you who don’t know, counter strike was firstly introduced as a half life mod only, but since it became famous, and has become the most played half life mod of all time, they released it later as a separate game even it still uses the old half-life game engine.
A fan made video that is creating a buzz around the net is this video called escape from city 17, a half life 2 inspired short film made by the purchase brothers.
they had made 2 episodes from a low budget of $500, in a guerilla style filming.
the independent film makers got Valve’s (creator of half life) support and they’re promoting the on steam news updates.
