Grand chase freezing problem

a few players of grand chase are experiencing a freezing problem in their grand chase client whenever they enter a dungeon,

some may receive errors, and some may experience a not responding pc.

a faulty memory may cause freezing, an overheating graphic card may cause this too, a poor ventilated cpu case may also create different problems on its devices,

a faulty power supply that can’t supply the required amount of electricity to the graphic card when it needs it can cause freezing or auto restarting of your pc ..

but before we go to hardware investigation, let us first try to answer this few questions that may help us find out on what can cause this grand chase freezing.

are you always experiencing it?
did you receive errors or it just hangs?
do you receive a blue screen of death (bsod)?
did your pc meet the grand chase pc specs requirements?
what’s your pc specs (video card, processor, memory, psu, etc.)
what’s your internet service provider? wired or wireless?
does it only happen when you play grand chase?
any history of freeze / hang on your pc?
does it happen in any other application / program?
is your graphic card driver updated?
do you have any other programs running in the background while playing grand chase (anti-virus scheduled scan etc.)?
did you try playing using the lowest settings?

below , and let’s try to give a solution to this mysterious grand chase freezing problem

we don’t know if this is just a bug or is a compatability issue within your system and grand chase.

are you always experiencing it?
-every time, since i installed GC
did you receive errors or it just hangs?
-it just hangs on the loading page
do you receive a blue screen of death (bsod)?
-nope (but i can do the “esc+entr” to go back to the map)
did your pc meet the grand chase pc specs requirements?
-definitely
what’s your pc specs (video card, processor, memory, psu, etc.)
-OS:XP SP2/1 G RAM/Processor:Intel Celeron @ 1.60 GHz/Video Card:NVIDIA GeForce 8400 GS/DirectX 9.0c
what’s your internet service provider? wired or wireless?
-Smart Bro/ke
does it only happen when you play grand chase?
-yup (my pc works perfectly with lineage2)
any history of freeze / hang on your pc?
-uhmm.. sometimes, but quite few instances..
does it happen in any other application / program?
-nope
is your graphic card driver updated?
-yup
do you have any other programs running in the background while playing grand chase (anti-virus scheduled scan etc.)?
-none (i disabled my firewall and even uninstalled my anti-virus)
did you try playing using the lowest settings?
-yup, still no avail..

i’m desperate to play GC.. T_T

hi jc, bale ang problem mo ba e freeze lang sa map ng grand chase dungeon pero hindi sa mismong pc while playing grand chase?

freeze sa ‘loading page’ ng dungeon pero ngagawa ko ung ‘esc+enter’ pra mkabalik ng map.. ndi ako mkapasok ng mga dungeons, un lng tlga problema..
no errors of any sort.. ok nman kpag pvp, wlang problema..
sa dungeon lng tlaga.. bkit kya ganun..

mukhang hindi sa pc mo ang problem JC, baka bug sa grand chase mismo,
nareport mo na ba sa level up customer support?

Pre, sa akin naman nag ha hang ung pc while playing GC.

ginagawa ko kasi imi minimize ko ung GC tapos refresh tapos un mag ha hang na cya.

paminsan minsan lang naman 2. . .

mga 5 times na nang yayari. . .

dati naman d ganito 2 eh. . .

nag freeze din sakin sa loading page ng dungeon runs pero di ko magawa ung escape/exit nag hang ata ung gc? pero ung pc inde

hi salamat sa mga pweden magreply sa yahoo messenger ko…ito po tanong ko pano po ba i download ang GC sa laptop kasi pag na download ko na hindi naman ma install sa nedd daw ng zlib1.dll di ko naman alamun?
